Starting a new Simulation Run

If you start a new Simulation Run , a «Proceed» is executed automatically.

Thus the model leads through initializations that are absolutely necessary. Commands, which are entered before this Proceed will not be executed by the simulator. A saved simulation run can be continued without executing a Proceed!

Input of Commands

Projects can be performed from trainees by entering commands via the interface of the simulation component. Trainees receive feedback in the form of messages from the system. For example, a trainee can assign a developer to create the specification by entering the command Specify.

The simulator returns, that the developer has started this activity. After some steps in time with entering Proceeds, the system answers that the developer has finished the specification.

Step in time during the Project

There are two possibilities to go further in the project:

  1. Step in time of one day
  2. Step in time of several days

Step in time of one day

To step in time of one day, trainees can click on the «Proceed» button. If you click on this button the project will proceed to the next day, what means that the status of the next day will be calculated.

Step in time of several days

If trainees want to increase the project time by several days, it is possible to enter the desired number of steps in the field«Number of steps». Afterwards please click on the button «Proceed» to increase the project time by the chosen number of days. Every feedback, that occurs during this time will be displayed in the simulation window. You can see older confirmations by using the scroll bar.

Execution of the Simulation

The simulation can be executed by trainees with the SimulationPlus - Component.
